About this test
Forbidden Words is a party game for 2+ teams, similar to Taboo. Describe a word to your teammates without using any of the forbidden words on the card โ while your opponents watch for violations.
How It Works
Each round, one player sees a target word and a list of forbidden words. They must describe the target to their teammates without saying any forbidden word. Teammates try to guess the word within the time limit.
Party Fun
The forbidden words are always the most obvious descriptions, forcing creative and often hilarious alternative explanations. The tension of opponents listening for slips adds to the excitement.
Tips
- Think of unusual associations before you start describing
- Use categories, rhymes, or opposites to hint at the word
